Dear Anne, I suggest you try a birth centre from each state as they usually know what happens around their neck of the woods. In Victoria try Mercy FBC. I think their email is [EMAIL PROTECTED] or something similiar. I know they opened in 1990, well after Monash, which has since closed. There is also an FBC at The Angliss. The Melbourne birth centres used to meet a few times a year to discuss common problems. Most of these were consumer driven in trying to get birth centres off the ground and the support hasn't wained much over the years. Hope this is helpful,
