It would be nice to think that this wouldn't happen in Australia - but the situation here is not as different as we would like to think. It's an interesting insight into how far formula companies will go to protect their market. I think the main thing saving Australia is not our laws on the mareting of infant formula (which are lame to say the least) but our lowish population and birthrate.
