Hi Ivan, Under List Permission group View Items cannot be disabled without Open Items becoming unchecked. Similarly, under Site Permissions, Open cannot be unchecked without disabling View Pages.
The root site for the collection is a publishing portal which is where I'm having the problem. I also have nested team sites for which I've enabled publishing but it was my understanding that lock down (a) was only applicable where anonymous access was enabled and (b) for non-publishing sites. I'm happy to enable lockdown if you think that'd do the trick. Anything I should know before I try?
