What would the best practice be for the following scenario.
I have several divisional sites within the Occ Health and Safety area that each
have a document library.
Eg.
Occ Health Site Division A Site - Div A Doc library
Division B Site - Div B Doc library
Division C Site - Div C Doc library
When documents no longer apply to the Division they need to be archived - so
that they are not available within the Division but if need be there is some
means to reference them.
In order to keep the Division libraries tidy these documents would need to be
archived - I read about the 'Send To' 'Other Location" function but this makes
a copy into another library - I really want the user to be able to archive the
document somewhere - and if required have that archive library viewable in case
the need to search it arises.
What is the best practice in applying this scenario to sharepoint.
All suggestions greatly welcome :)
