Are you sure?

Most issues are just items in the web.config that you can tweak.

Sounds like you are using iis7?

Tom

Hi Guys

I have confirmed that this is a double hop issue so I am going to go through
and configure Kerberos. Fingers crossed all goes smoothly.

Cheers,

Nathan

Subject: Reporting Services - Auth issue.

Hi Guys

I was wondering whether anyone might be able to help me with this.

My configuration is below:

Ø I have configured reporting services to use SharePoint Integrated reporting.

Ø We are using NTLM authentication within SharePoint.

Ø I have confirmed that I can hit the Report Server URL and it displays the
SharePoint web apps as expected.

Ø I have configured the web service and windows service to use a domain
account.

Ø The report server has Windows Authentication enabled in IIS.

Ø I have edited the rsreportserver.xml file to use the Web Service account I
specified in the Reporting Services Configuration.

In CA Integration settings when I use "trusted account" I am able to set the
server defaults. However when I change this to Windows Authentication and I try
and set the server defaults I get the following error:

An unexpected error occurred while connecting to the report server. Verify that
the report server is available and configured for SharePoint integrated mode.

And if I try and view a report with this configuration I get the following:

 Error

· Server was unable to process request. ---> The request failed with
HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

If I try and use trusted account and view the same report I get the following:

An error has occurred during report processing.

        * This data source is configured to use Windows integrated
security. Windows integrated security is either disabled for this report server
or your report server is using Trusted Account mode.

The data connection is setup to use Windows Authentication.

Any ideas?

Regards,
