If it's a domain account, make sure to specify the account with the domain,
ie:
*domain\username*
**Its likely that with the single server install you utilised a local server
/ non-domain account, with multiple machines you can't specify machine
accounts from one machine in another machine.

It's always best to setup SharePoint with domain accounts -
