Recently I came across the magical hidden user's list
(_catalogs/users/simple.aspx) quite by accident. At first glance it looked like
just the ticket for mass deleting unwanted groups from imported sites. But,
alas, the checkbox column has no associated actions!

Anyways, I did a little research on this and it appears that it's quite a good
base for a company directory page. Here's a reference:

Subject: Staff Directory - filterable

Hey All,

Is there an easy way (link to an article you may have used if possible please
:) ) to create a staff directory in SharePoint.

I realise you can search, but some people aren't smart enough to even do that
:P. I want to have a page / site which will list all staff in the directory and
also be able to maybe filter by site / department (this is all synced with
Active Directory).

Cheers,

Ken Thompson
