I had an idea to write a tool to help me monitor SharePoint logs and to correct any issues that are arising. I'm pretty sure that SharePoint-vNext has something similar to what I'm envisaging which comes OOTB. In a nutshell, I'm seeing a tool like the following: * Sends me a daily email with a distinct list of Warnings or Errors from the SharePoint logs * Allows me to create KB articles about each SharePoint error log message/type * If the item in the daily email has an associated KB entry, the email has a link to the KB article A couple of questions... 1) Does anybody have or know of a similar tool? 2) Does anybody know of an existing, authoritative source (KB) for information about fixing specific SharePoint error log messages?
