Why don't you run the XP machine as a VM? From: oztfs-boun...@oztfs.com [mailto:oztfs-boun...@oztfs.com] On Behalf Of Clint Colefax Sent: Monday, March 11, 2013 5:48 PM To: ozTFS Subject: RE: TFS 2012 Build Agent
Thanks Katherine, We are a Microsoft partner, so there are no worries about it being free or otherwise. Doco states it's not supported, and the installer stops you, so I was curious if anyone had done a manual hack install or something like that. I am currently pursuing a windows 7 build server for our vb6 assets, this will probably waste a couple of days.. :( Thanks Clint Colefax From: oztfs-boun...@oztfs.com<mailto:oztfs-boun...@oztfs.com> [mailto:oztfs-boun...@oztfs.com] On Behalf Of Katherine Moss Sent: Tuesday, 12 March 2013 10:40 AM To: ozTFS Subject: RE: TFS 2012 Build Agent You just have to try it and see. Remember that TFS express, which supports build agents, is free stuff, so there's no risk in that. I know it's not supported, just wondering. We have an old xp build machine that is going to be very painful to upgrade (it's used to build vb6 applications targeted for xp client machines). Thanks [Clint_C]
