Will check it out-asking that you read the Lifeboat article on why the poor shouldn't be helped. Policies that look great in the immediate & short-run often turn to disaster as time perspectives & unintended consequences aren't even considered. Logic trumps altruism

Not all commons are immune to tradegy but some most definately are. Ostroms work has been a big part in disproving 'tradegy'.
