like to anounce Glynx (www.glynx.com) to this list.
Glynx is p2p social communcation app based on a Kademlia DHT with
user-provisioned central PKI services. Our emphasis is on privacy
and
control of one's online identity and personas. Currently Glynx
provides
real-time contact manager sync (sort of like Plaxo, but without a
central directory and observer), encrypted messaging, rich
presence, and
a passwordless OpenID implementation.
Those with an understanding of PKI can use Glynx without reference to
the central PKI services - allowing truly anonymous social
communications.
Glynx has been in a quiet beta phase for some time now, however we're
starting to publicise this release.
