we will look into vMeet and see how it can be integrated.

hello Ed,

i wish you good luck , but they don´t care much about "openness "
from my experience, its realy strange. But i think its because of "sponsorship"

so they prefer a closed source "Adobe" or "Marratech" system more then a not
so perfect but extensible opensource solution.

greetings

hello ladys and gentle persons,

sorry for my offtopic question, but i thought a few people from here
are on some IETF lists aswell .
A friend pointed me to a new list called "vmeet" its about remote
partizipating.

The purpose of the activity is to <https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/vmeet

Explore, specify and develop improved services for remotely
participating in IETF meetings. Look for eventually supporting virtual
meetings that have no physical venue. A modest form of a virtual
meeting is a small-group conference call, such as regularly conducted
by the IESG, IAB and IAOC. The state of the art -- and more
importantly, the state of the product and service industry -- is quite
advanced. So I view this as an effort in pragmatics. If there is any
software development, it should be limited to scripts.

So its very interesting for us, because we develop a "opensource
conferencing " tool.

But FIRST time my mail does not find the way to the list , then i
subscribed to the "normal" i...@ietf.org list and asked ,

and my second message did not get thru also . So i am asking , is
there something i am missing ?
Did they changed policy ? IETF list censored ? i am confused.

Thanks in advance
