Hi, I am having a doubt in Lamport's "time ,clocks and the ordering of events in the distriubted system" paper in the math part of it. In the 6th page of the paper 1'st column he tries to relate the smallness of k & epsilon to the value of u as Ci(t+u)-Ci(t) > ( 1-k)u. I did not get how he came up with that. I would be grateful if anybody can help me with it.
