Folks: I apologize to everyone whose posts were held for moderation over the last few days. I had intended to set the "moderated" bit on all *new* subscribers in order to pre-empt those people (surprisingly numerous) who subscribe to the p2p-hackers list solely in order to post a naked CFP.
One such subscriber is actually, I believe, a bot which has been programmed to subscribe to mailing lists automatically for this purpose. I think I somehow turned on the moderated bit on everyone. Anyway, my general plan in the future is to clear the moderated bit on anyone who posts an on-topic post that isn't just a naked CFP, so that eventually everyone's posts go straight through before I even see them except for newcomers who haven't yet proved themselves not to be CFPers.
