Of course. I probably didn't express myself very clearly. The actual *hardcore* backbone seems to me likely to consist of only Exceptions/Errors, and perhaps I18N (depending on what it's scope is). Perl takes care of the rest :-) What I meant was that some part of the whole seem (to me) more likely to be used throughout the architecture (even if in certain cases they have to be retrofitted into what has been developped already).
