I think P5EE should at least be on par with JBoss in terms of app
deployment. In JBoss you simply copy the application .ear file
(containing various EJB and web modules) to deploy/ sub-directory and
the already running JBoss server will deploy it for you, taking care of
the tomcat/jetty deployment at the same time. Also, if you copy a newer
.ear to deploy/, JBoss will see that and then re-deploy your application
automatically.
Deployment cannot get any easier than that.
