I don't think it makes much sense to have a code base called P5EE. That's just not the way the perl community works. Perl is too flexible to be put into a straitjacket like this. And forward motion is not by itself justification of forward motion. Standing still can be better than going in the wrong direction. OTOH, perhaps p5ee should look at the POOP project at poop.sourceforge.net. It doesn't attempt to either reinvent or synthesize existing poop implementations, it just documents the main modules that address this and covers their strengths and weaknesses. P5ee could incorporate this by reference, and incorporate or create similar _documentation_ for other areas of "enterprise" solutions, for five different definitions of "enterprise" that people find useful.
