Just a quick email to announce the good news.

We were able to demonstrate enough demand for RHEL4 that it is now supported by the OpenSUSE Build Service (both for i586 and x86_64).

So as of this morning, RHEL4 users can simply download pre-built packages from:
   http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/ha-clustering/RHEL_4/

All packages (for the different distributions and architectures) are built from the same tarballs to ensure maximum consistency and compatibility.

For an explanation about what the packages contain and which ones you might need, please refer to
  http://clusterlabs.org/mw/Install#Binary_Packages

regards,
Andrew

As a side note, does anyone know if RHEL4 packages are usable on CENTOS4?
