the core files should be in:
/var/lib/heartbeat/cores/hacluster
and then you need to use gdb to get the stack traces (since the cores
are only usable on your machine). hb_report would have done this
automatically if you'd set up SSH between the two nodes^ (and not
wiped the logs).
thats what it was warning you about - that it can't connect to the
second node
