Ok, hb_report only collects existing logs so it won't help me *get* crmd to
use the logd.
However, I am making progress reading the source. It looks like liblrm is
going to expect
to find sockets under /var/run/heartbeat similar to those under
/var/run/crm.
Anyone have an idea how these are created?

-bash-3.00# ls -l /var/run/heartbeat/
total 0
-bash-3.00# ls -l /var/run/crm/
total 0
srwxrwxrwx 1 hacluster root 0 Feb 5 11:21 attrd
srwxrwxrwx 1 hacluster root 0 Feb 5 11:21 cib_callback
srwxrwxrwx 1 hacluster root 0 Feb 5 11:21 cib_ro
srwxrwxrwx 1 hacluster root 0 Feb 5 11:21 cib_rw
srwxrwxrwx 1 hacluster root 0 Feb 5 11:21 pengine-bash-3.00
# ls -l /var/run
