Ok, hb_report only collects existing logs so it won't help me *get* crmd to use the logd. However, I am making progress reading the source. It looks like liblrm is going to expect to find sockets under /var/run/heartbeat similar to those under /var/run/crm. Anyone have an idea how these are created?
