Definitely not. If you do the monitor action from the command line does that also return the unexpected exit code: # stonith -t external/rackpdu community="empisteftiko" names_oid=".1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.4.4.2.1.4" ... -lS Which pacemaker release do you run? I couldn't reproduce this with a recent Pacemaker.
