OK, got it
I will change /etc -> $(SYDCONFDIR) & /usr/share -> $(DATADIR) in Makefile
and call
make install DESTDIR=$RPM_BUILD_ROOT DATADIR=%{_datadir}
SYSCONFDIR=%{_sysconfdir}
in spec
