So, have you guys seen how libguestfs does it?

Basically at runtime it pulls in a subset of the host binaries, verifying at
startup they haven't changed.
This means the image automatically updates any time host content changes, and
it doesn't need another delivery vehicle, or a separate build process for that
image.
