I decided on using Fedora 16 as my host OS.
Since I cannot use Windows due to the limitations you stated about the VLAN
network interfaces and I have an Intel Ethernet card, will I be able to
create the required VLAN interfaces for PF since Intel ProSet tools are not
available for Linux (My card does support 802.1q tagging)? Is there some
type of special software I will need to set up these interfaces? Any
insight would be appreciated and thank you for all of your input; it has
been extremely helpful.
