Do you want to do Inline or VLAN enforcement? The answer to that question will help to define the requirements.
If you do Inline, the requirements are more regarding the server itself. If you do VLAN enforcement, of course, your switches need to be manageable, and supported by PF (see hardware support list) using either port-security or mac authentication/802.1x. Hope it helps!
