Not sure I understand the question. Once setup your PacketFence server
should have an interface in registration. Usually this is done by
setting as 'Trunk' the ethernet port where the PacketFence server is
connected and allowing the VLANs you require to pass. Then adding an
interface VLAN on your debian to expose that VLAN to the OS as
eth0.<vlanid> (this is covered by the web configurator normally).

Virtualized setup work otherwise. Search the archives, this has been
covered numerous times in the past.

It should happen auto-magically if you followed the setup instructions.
There should be a 'registration' VLAN interface on the server and it
must be configured in pf.conf and networks.conf. Steps that are covered
in the web configurator and administration guide.
