I updated the guide. The names were used inconsistently. Some where CSPI-... and others only PF-. It could explain your situation but maybe not. You might want to retry with proper config first: https://github.com/inverse-inc/packetfence/commit/7ee1d52849514e56fbcfc739ded9a456a7965988 > > The client can connect to the WLAN and gets the Captive Portal website > from PacketFence. > The user can logon with username and password and PacketFence is doing > VLAN re-assignment (or at least tries to) and is sending de-Auth to the > controller as expected. > Unfortunately the client will be connected to the same VLAN again and > sees the Captive Portal instead of getting network/internet access. > > I verified that "Keep Initial VLAN" is not checked at the Trapeze > configuration. > Is someone successfully using Trapeze Networks together with PacketFence > and VLAN enforcement? > > I am using Trapeze Network MX200R controllers with latest firmware > (7.6.3.1.0) and PacketFence version 3.5.0 on CentOS. > > I would be very glad for any hints how to solve this issue. > Thanks in advance. If it is still a problem, the best would be for us to have your log file. Write down current time on the server. Connect, reach the captive portal, register, be deauthenticated, wait for your wireless to reconnect. Write down end of test time. Send us the /usr/local/pf/logs/packetfence.log file trimmed of anything not related to your test (use time you've written down).
