I have run into this before, but not in a while.

Your problem is probably that you are using different software repositories 
that are NOT compatible with each other.

I do not know if you are familiar with how the repository system works, but the 
end result is that you will end up with dependency problems when you use too 
many repos.

Just like with any other computing platform, you may run across times when 
applications require a set of dependencies that are mutually exclusive to one 
another.  When this happens you have no choice but NOT to use these 
applications on the same box.

So, if for some reason you ABSOLUTLY NEED all of those repos then in order to 
use PF you will need to choose a different box.  However,  if as is often the 
case, you have enabled a ton of repos over time, then remove the repos you do 
not need.  Then do a yum update and get your system on a set of packages that 
all play nicely together.

Installing the wrong repos can and WILL hose your system.
