Hello everyone,

I installed CentOS 6.5 in VMware ESXi. I have several vlans in my
infrastructure (100,101). My CentOS has two network cards (each on a vlan).
The problem is that when I try to attach my CentOS (eg with ping) from a
different vlan than vlan in which it is located (eg from the vlan 100 on my
eth0 that it is in the vlan 101) I did not receive a response (and vice
versa, with eth1 vlan 101). I checked the settings on my CentOS, I disabled
the firewall and I left the reception of ping enabled in the system (the
problem can occur any protocol). I installed wireshark on my CentOS and
found that I was getting out the ICMP Request but my CentOS did not send
reply (again, the problem occurs with all protocols). The only way to reach
him from another vlan is the command: nmap -PN 192,168,101. ***. I first
thought of a configuration problem. So I reinstalled a new test machine
also under CentOS 6.5 with a basic network and the problem is also present
configuration. Do you have a solution to this problem?

Thank you to all. best regards,

Xavier.
