I would like to ask if anyone can give me some help with the following issue:
I have installed Ubuntu 12.04.5 on a server and have tried to install
packetfence to no avail. The reason being the following error:
* Checking FreeRADIUS daemon configuration...
[fail]
invoke-rc.d: initscript freeradius, action "force-reload" failed.
dpkg: error al procesar freeradius-ldap (--configure):

Configurando freeradius-postgresql (2.2.5-1+git) ...

No se escribió ningún informe «apport» porque ya se ha alcanzado el valor de
«MaxReports»
Se encontraron errores al procesar:
freeradius-ldap
freeradius-postgresql
freeradius-mysql
freeradius-krb5
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I have searched the web for an answer without positive results, I have used the
following sequence of cammands trying to fix the issue:
sudo apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get upgrade openssl
cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
sudo nano packetfence.list
deb http://inverse.ca/downloads/PacketFence/debian precise precise
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-key 0x810273C4
sudo apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install packetfence
I have also tried the fix modifing the file radiusd.conf to yes, also doesnt
work.
I even tried to install freeradius first and the install packetfence, but it
just overwrites the config files.
Can anyone please tell me how to fix this problem, I have installed ubuntu
server at least 4 times trying to fix the problem I will greatly appreciate
any help.
I am in Chile south america, for time zone reference.
