Hi,

We're evaulating packetfence, and so far it seems to be exactly what we
are looking for. :-)

We now have a test setup with inline enforcement, and it seems to work
nicely. Some config changes did not 'work' immediately (like dns
adjustments) and needed a reboot, but no major issues. Next step is de
VLAN enforcement.

Two questions for now:

- during a reboot of the packetfence server, using VLAN enforcement,
what would happen to the network? Would everything (user access etc)
keep functioning to way it does, or would connectivity be actually cut-off?

- what if we need to restore the packetfence server, would a backup of
/usr/local/pf/* and a mysql dump be enough?

Kind regards,
MJ
