Hello Daniel,

it's probably more an issue with one of your portal modules than the portal filter. Can you verify that you correctly defined the "root portal module" and all the associated modules ?

Fabrice

Hi All,

We are trying to move from 5.7 up to 6.2. Have run up a clean install, and reconfigured everything the same, including PKI for EAP.

Previously in 5.7 we were successfully using a portal profile with a ‘network’ filter, defined in CIDR format.

When we try the same configuration in 6.2 we see the following error:

Jul 20 12:37:50 httpd.portal(3157) ERROR: [mac:2c:f0:a2:80:b8:9e] Caught exception in captiveportal::Controller::Root->dynamic_application "Can't locate object method "current_module" via package "captiveportal::DynamicRouting::Module::Provisioning" at /usr/local/pf/html/captive-portal/lib/captiveportal/PacketFence/DynamicRouting/Module.pm

line 236." (captiveportal::PacketFence::Controller::Root::end)

We have tried to use SSID and VLAN filter, but these are ignored.

To test this further, we removed the filter, and applied the authentication and provisioner to the ‘default’ portal.

The error is similar but with no filter in place seems to be related to the provisioner rather than the filter as initially suspected?

Found provisioner iosstaff for f0:c1:f1:23:05:33 (captiveportal::PacketFence::DynamicRouting::Module::Provisioning::execute_child)

Jul 20 14:37:56 httpd.portal(3557) ERROR: [mac:f0:c1:f1:23:05:33] Caught exception in captiveportal::Controller::Root->dynamic_application "Can't locate object method "current_module" via package "captiveportal::DynamicRouting::Module::Provisioning" at /usr/local/pf/html/captive-portal/lib/captiveportal/PacketFence/DynamicRouting/Module.pm line 236." (captiveportal::PacketFence::Controller::Root::end)

Has anyone seen anything similar, or have any clues on this?

Thanks,

Dan
