Hello All,
I am pretty new to using Packetfence but i got my server (8.0.1) running and
need to add openvas (OpenVAS 9) now for pre-registration.
I am facing 2 problems with this:
1st:
I am not really sure and cannot find any clear documentation of how i need to
configure the scan on openvas. Does anyone has a working config where i can see
how to properly configure the targets/ports etc ?
Do i need to give openvas as host just the PF-Server or does it need a network
range ?
2nd:
Assuming i configured a simple scan and added as target the packetfence host
server, added the scan engine in packetfence ( scan id, rpeort format etc) and
added the engine to my connection profile.
When running i always get the following error so it just skips the scan without
triggering anything.
Jun 7 10:34:37 PacketFence-801 packetfence_httpd.aaa: httpd.aaa(1007) WARN:
[mac:myMacAddress] Can't find scan engine for "myMacAddress" since we don't
have it's OS (pf::Connection::Profile::findScan)
