Hello Hiran,

i already answered you:

Hello Hiran,

i think you will need to select "external portal server" but a switch module need to be developed.

Draytek is not yet supported in PacketFence but i think it's not really complicate to code.

If you are interested we can do the code based on a sponsored development.

Regards

Fabrice

Hi

I would like to use packetfence but im not sure if it will support what i will need it to do. i need it to authenticate guest wi-fi uses that connect to a Draytek router. The Draytek router has a captive portal conifg and can have a external radius server carrying out the authentication so i was thinking of using "packetfence" simply as an external radius server that authenticates clients using their MAC address.

I have attached screenshots of the Draytek config page can you tell me if i would be about to use "packetfence" to authenticate users by MAC addresses of their devices?

I have installed packetfence on a VM but cant see where to start configuring what i am trying to achieve.

I would like guest users to be prompted with a google or facebook login screen which will be handled by the Draytek router, then once the user has entered their details, the MAC address of their their device would then be passed to packetfence so that in future that device will not need to re enter their social login detail again.

screenshots attached

Thanks
