Hello Matt,

to be able to have this information PacketFence needs to receive the dhcp traffic of the device.

It can be done in the registration network (since packetfence is the dhcp), via a ip helper-address config on the vlan interface, or use dhcp-forwarder (cf doc).

Regards

Fabrice

Hello all!

I recently setup Packetfence 8.3.0 with the ZEN deployment. I setup the Fingerbank API with github, and shows successfully connected. I have a switch connected to the Packetfence, and it is working correctly, including accounting. However, in the Node view, I see my nodes listed, with mac address, switch ip address, switchport, but I cannot seem to figure out how to show Device Manufacturer associated with the Mac address. The column is there, and showing, but all the entries are blank. I'm fairly new to Packetfence, so any advice you can offer is much appreciated.

Thanks!
Matt
