Hi all, I'm testing snmp-portsecurity mode on a Cisco 4500 series switch. When a new device is connected to the port, the switch sends the trap security violation and packetfence puts the port on the registration vlan. The problem is, when there is also a voip phone on the same port, PF doesn't bounce the port so that the DHCP client does not make a new request. Is there a way to force ports to bounce when the voip phone is also present? The same problem occurs when the device is registered from the portal and it is put on the production vlan.
