Hi all, I want to upgrade from 10.2 to 10.3 then a fresh 11.2 install with export/import config.
I run the ZEN appliance always upgraded with the upgrade manual and went fine but now with the first step the upgrade to a newer version of mariadb I run into a problem. I cant login with root in de the database. After resetting it still I can’t login. Before the update so after the update to 10.2 and running month’s I even can’t login also after resetting root’s passwd I still can’t login. I get always the same error: [root@PacketFence-ZEN ~]# mysql -u root -p Enter password: ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) This was never a problem with with any database update scripts. Has anyone a clue?
