Hello, We are experiencing problems with our laptops that do 802.1X on user login only. The process goes like this: the laptop turns on and mac is registered in vlan 10 by mac-auth and gets an ip. User logs in and gets a vlan e.g. 110 and gets an ip. Then the user reboots the pc. PF sends vlan 10 as mac-auth. but the switch port does not do a port bounce so the laptop is not aware of the vlan adjustment. after a waiting time that varies the laptop eventually gets an ip.
radius-disconnect or snmp works fine if I adjust the role in PF then I see the port go off/on. the switch used is a Juniper EX2300 and PF 14.1 anyone an idea?
