Hello there, we are trying to use only the captive portal features of packetfence in a wi-fi network composed by Aruba controllers (HPE Aruba Operating System 8.12) and several Aruba APs. Our use case should be very simple: - a supplicant client tries to get access to the wi-fi network. - the aruba controller receives the request and redirect it to the packetfence captive portal on which an email based registration is configured as external sources - A packetfence connection profile handles the request allowing the user to insert an email address and authenticate the client sending back to the Aruba controller the authenticated role.
Apparently, we are not able to configure properly the communication between aruba controller and packetfence connection profile having a lot of troubles in sending and receiving commands between the two tools. Has someone already didi it and can share configuration/guides ? Many thanks Antonio
