Ok, I now found out, this is actually a libdvdnav issue. Packman provides libdvdnav 4.1.3 which causes this behaviour. A downgrade to libdvdnav 4.1.1 has solved the issue. It would be nice if Packman would also provide a downgrade, so people can play DVDs with MPlayer again.
