Hi,

Is there any chance to build MPlayer with support for VA-API?
Nows from MPlayer site:
"Newer ATI cards and Intel ATOM owners on Linux can utilize the VA-API
hardware accelerated H.264, WMV3/VC1, MPEG2 and MPEG4 playback using
MPlayer.
Instructions can be found at
http://www.splitted-desktop.com/~gbeauchesne/mplayer-vaapi/<http://www.splitted-desktop.com/%7Egbeauchesne/mplayer-vaapi/>
"

To make it real:
MPlayer needs VA-API patches and need to be build against
libva<http://www.splitted-desktop.com/%7Egbeauchesne/libva/>.
Then we need install
xvba-video<http://www.splitted-desktop.com/%7Egbeauchesne/xvba-video/>(XvBA
backend for VA API -> for fglrx driver) and/or
vdpau-video <http://www.splitted-desktop.com/%7Egbeauchesne/vdpau-video/>(VDPAU
backend for VA API -> for nvidia driver).

All necessary files can be found on
http://www.splitted-desktop.com/~gbeauchesne/
