There are ___-32bit versions of some packman packages that cannot be
installed alongside their native counterparts because there are no
___-32bit versions of libraries they depend on. This means the
packages conflict with their native counterparts, if you try to
install the __-32bit version it will break or make you uninstall the
native version. This defeats the purpose of have ___-32bit versions,
which is to be able to install them alongside their 64bit
counterparts.

Examples (I'll include the missing dependency it mentions, but there
may be others missing as well):
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-bad-32bit - libmms.so.0
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-good-32bit - libwavpack.so.1
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-good-extra-32bit - libshout.so.3
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-ugly-32bit - liba52.so.0
libfarsight2_0-32bit - libgupnp-igd-1.0.so.3
libnice10-32bit - libgupnp-igd-1.0.so.3
