I have searched everywhere for gtk version 2.24, but that is not

Is that feedback you posted from the terminal, trying to start it from
there?

That feedback is from the terminal, just to retrieve it. I start Devede
up as normal user. But then it crashes. It requires gtk 2.24, but that
can't be provided.
