In my case; MPlayer 1.5.r38441-12 (C) 2000-2023 MPlayer Team CPU vendor name: GenuineIntel max cpuid level: 22 CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900 CPU @ 3.10GHz (Family: 6, Model: 158, Stepping: 13) extended cpuid-level: 8 extended cache-info: 16801856 Detected cache-line size is 64 bytes CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 0 3DNowExt: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 1 SSE3: 1 SSSE3: 1 SSE4: 1 SSE4.2: 1 AVX: 1 Compiled with runtime CPU detection. [...] Here, I replaced libx264 with packman's libx264-164-0.164+git20220602.baee400f-150500.1.pm.3.x86_64.rpm and tested with the 2008 ts file, and no problem occurs. I can't say for sure without testing the playback of the same video file as yours, but it could be the MPlayer itself. Can I test with the file you used too?
