Hello,

I like to use avidemux3 to cut video in smaller pieces.

Alas since I don't know when, avidemux do not work anymore

As it does not even exist in the standard Tumbleweed repositories, it is
not really surprising.

ok, it comes from packman,

https://forums.opensuse.org/t/problem-installing-avidemux-nothing-provides-libvpx-so-8/173865

but libvpx9 is from openSUSE OSS (and no
libvpx in packman)

I add packman list as receiver

thanks

I run Tumbleweed, just updated.

Avidemux don't even want to install, because it's missing
'libvpx.so.8()(64bit)', setting to ignore this file gives an avidemux
that read the video file, run it with sound but no image (garbled display)

I *do* have libvpx.so.9, but linking libvpx.so.8 to 9 do not works

    > ll /usr/lib64/libvpx*
lrwxrwxrwx 2 root root      15  3 juil. 15:00 /usr/lib64/libvpx.so.8 ->
libvpx.so.9.0.1
lrwxrwxrwx 2 root root      15  3 juil. 15:00 /usr/lib64/libvpx.so.9 ->
libvpx.so.9.0.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root      15  3 juil. 15:00 /usr/lib64/libvpx.so.9.0
-> libvpx.so.9.0.1
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 2390128  3 juil. 15:00 /usr/lib64/libvpx.so.9.0.1

running from terminal, avidemux gives an extremely long log from witch I
can't say anything

idea?
thanks
