Hi,
opi needs to know which repo is the packman repo so that it can install
the codecs explicitly from the packman repo.
But on your system the packman repo has an alias other than "packman".
So opi doesn't detect that you already have that repo.
The easiest thing you can do is simply to "zypper lr" to show all repos
and "zypper rr REPOID" for the id of the existing packman repo.
Then you can run "opi codecs" again and opi will add the packman repo
again - with the right alias this time.

Dominik

Hi,
I just learned of this command today, so I tried it.
Telcontar:~ # opi codecs
Do you want to install codecs from Packman repository? (Y/n) Y
Adding packman repo
1. ftp.fau.de - University of Erlangen, Germany - 1h sync
2. ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de - University of Aachen, Germany - 1h sync
3. ftp.gwdg.de - University of Göttingen, Germany - 4h sync
4. mirror.karneval.cz - TES Media, Czech Republic - 1h sync
5. mirrors.aliyun.com - Alibaba Cloud, China - 24h sync
Pick a mirror near your location (0 to quit): 0
Telcontar:~ #
Problem is, I already have the packman repo enabled, I do not want to
add another; I just want to see if it adds some more codecs.
So I suggest that the command needs an option in that question to not
add a repo, which is probably easier than checking to see if already
exists.
