Greetings. There appears to be an issue when running zypper dup on TW starting with 20251127 regarding "libdisplay-info.so.3" . The reason for the question mark in the title is provided below.
After refreshing the repos and running zypper dup, the output reads as follows: Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... Warning: You are about to do a distribution upgrade with all enabled repositories. Make sure these repositories are compatible before you continue. See 'man zypper' for more information about this command. Computing distribution upgrade... Problem: 1: nothing provides 'libdisplay-info.so.3' needed by the to be installed libvulkan_radeon-32bit-25.3.0-1699.3.pm.2.x86_64 Solution 1: install libvulkan_radeon-32bit-25.3.0-1.1.x86_64 from vendor openSUSE replacing libvulkan_radeon-32bit-25.3.0-1699.2.pm.4.x86_64 from vendor http://packman.links2linux.de Solution 2: keep obsolete libvulkan_radeon-32bit-25.3.0-1699.2.pm.4.x86_64 Solution 3: break libvulkan_radeon-32bit-25.3.0-1699.3.pm.2.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/3/c/d/?] (c): Interestingly, the first solution seems to perform a vendor switch for this package back to openSUSE when asked for user input, but is that the ideal solution in this case? This issue has come up on the openSUSE Forums as well, but the general recommendation seems to be waiting out. Only that there have been ~4days since the issue first showed up, and it continues to persist. Proceeding with Solution 1 appears to downgrade package "libvulkan_radeon-32bit", and only then switch vendors: The following package is going to be downgraded: libvulkan_radeon-32bit The following package is going to change vendor: libvulkan_radeon-32bit http://packman.links2linux.de -> openSUSE Thanks. _______________________________________________ Packman mailing list [email protected] https://lists.links2linux.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/packman
