I'd appreciate other people trying this out and building it to see if you get
any errors or warnings, especially those of you that have a non-Arch box
available to make sure we didn't destroy any backward compatiblity.
I just tested this out on an Arch Server chroot with the following packages:
autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.64
automake (GNU automake) 1.11
gettext (GNU gettext-runtime) 0.17
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 2.2.6b
And there were no build issues with those version. So it looks like we
are still compatible with slightly older versions.
