How about getting rid of that double negation? Better: "The configure
script will now error if no library supporting checksums is present".

"at least one ... is not present" would actually mean that if we support
3 libs and one of those is not installed, configure throws an error. I'm
pretty sure that's not what you mean/want.

Apart from that: Good idea!
