Coastal Community Business Development An international NGO will hire a specialist to implement business capacity development with fishermen cooperatives in coastal communities. Working with Management to coordinate fishermen cooperatives with the training, business skills, and resources required to succeed as small enterprises. This includes conducting initial business assessment and planning, designing and delivering business related training, and providing business related coaching on an ongoing basis as appropriate. Our project office is in Bali, however, the applicant will be required to work in the field much of the time.
A successful applicant will have the following minimum qualifications: · Experience with implementation of development projects in Indonesia · Private sector or development experience is preferable · Proven ability to work in highly dynamic, start-up situations · Bachelors degree, preferably in a business-related subject · Understanding of biodiversity conservation efforts in Indonesia · Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and competency in English Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
